It is our intention to provide our clients with a professional and therapeutic massage and wellness experience. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for both our first time and regular wellness clients, as well as us, as the practitioners. It is our commitment and mission to provide unique and holistic wellness experiences and services that are expectational and professional for all of our clients, thus we have adopted the following polices below.
Please note, we are a women’s wellness-based practice only, no exceptions.
ARRIVAL TO YOUR MASSAGE
We ask that you please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to fill out our client intake form. When booking a service with us for the first time we will send all required paperwork to you via the email address you provide and we please ask you fill all paperwork out at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. All massages have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a more relaxed and unhurried experience.
If late arrival is inevitable, please let us know via phone call or text and note your services may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. The original treatment time will be charged regardless of late arrival.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING/AFTER YOUR MASSAGE
Every massage session with us is customized to meet your unique goals, needs, and preferences. We recommend dressing in comfortable clothing to your appointment, hydrating before and after your massage, and always communicating with your massage therapist to ensure the best experience. It's normal to feel relaxed, spacey, or slightly lightheaded after a massage—what we often call "massage brain!" Staying hydrated, resting, and engaging in nourishing activities for the rest of your day is encouraged for optimal massage benefits.
BEST WAY TO BOOK
The easiest way to book an appointment with us is to schedule your appointment online via our “book now” button found on our “services” page. Gratuity is already included into the pricing of all of our massage packages, as well as any additional modalities used. If you decide you want to leave a tip we will graciously accept, but please note it is not expected nor required.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice, (of scheduled service day and time) or more, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us enough time to fill the spot. We send out appointment remainders via email 48 hours before your appointment and reminder texts 24 hours before - if you need to make any changes please let us know at either of these times. For any appointments cancelled after the 24 hour period we will charge 50% of the amount of the massage service booked. We understand life happens - if you need to cancel last minute for any reason please always reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate you within our ability.
NO SHOW POLICY
Clients who do not show up to their scheduled appointment without notice of cancellation will be charged the full amount of the service scheduled - no exceptions. Because this practice supports our family, we have to keep strict boundaries in place in regards to no show appointments - we hope you understand.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Unfortunately, we cannot make any extensions of scheduled appointments even in the case of late arrivals. In special cases, if our schedule allows and if/under special circumstances, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original fee for the service will still be charged.
PRIVACY POLICY & HIPPA COMPLIANCE
All health records and intake forms utilized for services within SAGE AND SPIRIT are kept in strictest confidence and compliance with HIPPA regulations and standards. All client records are kept within a secure space and only those who need to see clients file for legitimate business and professional purposes have designated access. Your records will never be released to third parties, including health care providers or insurance without your written request and consent. Records may be surrendered if required by law for any reason.
